Welcome – my name is Caleb Fitzpatrick.

I am currently working as a senior research assistant in the international macroeconomics section of the research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, I worked as an ice hockey coach and scout. I am applying to Ph.D. programs that begin in the fall of 2026.

I am interested in researching quality of life differences across the income and wealth spectrums. This includes questions about how quality of life is measured, how institutions and policy can help mitigate inequalities in quality of life, and the willingness of individuals to participate in programs designed to improve the quality of life of others.
